| Submitted by K2 Lights up. Wet, green grass. The air was soft, the stars so fine, the promise of every cobbled alley so great that I thought I was in a dream. Jolt Cola was drank by both teams in true WAKA spirit. "Didn't that company go out of business?" you think. This is how it really happened. After all, the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars. I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop. We won. My witness is the empty sky. Everett's theory of multiple worlds suggests an alternate reality where K2 dominated, despite being merely a Crown Division team, what some may consider a Dickensian orphan boy amongst leagues. It is not my fault that certain so-called bohemian elements have found in my writings something to hang their peculiar beatnik theories on, though. As a team, as a division, we are all heart. Luckily for us, love was all we needed to overpower AKT. Unfortunately, Glenn Black waited on the sidelines. Disappointed with their performance, but impressed with their patriotism, Beck let AKT use his personal Hot Tub Time Machine and they went back in time, knowing every play that was going to happen. All our best men were laughed at in this nightmare land. We may have lost, but we know that great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion. This is the night, what it does to you. I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion. |
